B.) Star Trek (The Original series all the way thru to Enterprise .... hey if I'm going to be stuck in The Village I'm going to smuggle in as much programing as the question allows ... .... )

C.) The Jeremy Brett TV series of Sherlock Holmes

Now for a bit of fun ....... There was a play that Jeremy Brett was in called The Secret of Sherlock Holmes in which it is postured the Holmes and Professor Moriarty are one and the same person .... here is a link to an audio of the play with a series of stills from the play as support:

You will note that the audio shows the play was based on classic dialog from the Sherlock Holmes "cannon".

Here is my suggestion, watch The Red Headed League + The Final Problem + The Empty House + The Devil's Foot and you will have a very nifty Sherlock Holmes movie complete with a climax in The Devil's Foot where Holmes must battle a drug induced nightmare that implies his own No.1 may have been indeed Moriarty as his own darker self.
