Bearing in mind pre-set expectations and familiarity of old series. Not thinking much at all of the production design. Village A-frames look very low budget etc etc.
Interior decor rather in your face with the zooming in on every lava lamp - hit home early on that this could very possibly be the old Number 6's place). (again, confused whether this is a remake or a continuation...)
Twin towers could indicate a terrorist swing on things.
Thank goodness for Ian mcKellan and his son (?) or muse. (Liking him too- you know he will side up with #6 eventually or become a rebel).
Should have kept the original form of address "Number Six".
(repeat - this is always going tohappen when you have a remake)
Jim C hasnt displayed the intensity and passion of Patrick yet. He seems rather accepting of the situation - little depth and emotion given the circumstances.
Not impressed yet but will try an open mind.

I got caught up in the first episode, its like a bad dream, no idea what's going on but very enjoyable to watch.

The lead man isn't brilliant but Ian McKellen is.

The whole episode was dreadful, I can only hope it gets better, much, much better than that.

I liked the desert location and i liked Ian McKellen but that was about it. I didn't like 'the village' and without the surreal take of the original series, the new TP looks very tame. Jim Caviezel is a fairly weak 'six' which doesn't help.

Judging by the first episode this is more 'the truman show' than 'the prisoner'.
