I would quite like to see something like Michael Douglass in "Falling Down" where he goes mad at various things in society. Maybe a little more British and reserved than a baseball bat but you get the idea.

Yeh thats a pretty good idea. Would be great to see him tackling more modern things in the same way the original did.
