What is the obsession with wraps as the only food in this show?
Tesco do a lovely ploughmans wrap actually, yum.

The directors and actors couldn't wait to make it a wrap (finish shooting), hence the wraps reference in the food.

Made me think it was a comment on the banal quality of global corporations serving us the same crap everywhere - Starbucks/Costa etc.

I was thinking that wraps were symbolic of The Village -- the filling is all wrapped up, nice and tight, contained, can't get out.

Maybe Jan. Or perhaps the openings on each side of the wrap are symbolic of the holes found in the ground. Or the wraps themselves are symbolic of the tunnels. Or Rover in the tunnel is symbolic of the circular shaped pills that Number 2 has placed inside the wraps.

Hello Folks
I think they may be a delivery system for genetic material incubated in pigs.
