Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Beer and The Prisoner, these are a few of my favorite things.
If you love The Prisoner and enjoy a glass or two then Bromsgove is the place to be this July.
The event has been themed around the cult TV series The Prisoner - this is the sixth beer festival and number six was the one allocated to the main character, played by Patrick McGoohan.
The festival will be officially opened by Harriet Easton. The 19-year-old politics undergraduate founded The Rushing Dolls Company which has teamed up with award-winning local brewery, Hanby Ales, of Wem, to create a beer both specifically designed and marketed to women.
There will be food available for most of the sessions which run from 7pm to 11pm on the Thursday, 6pm to 11pm on the Friday and from 11am to 11pm on the Saturday (or until the beer runs out).
The Thursday will be open to CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) card carrying members only and the festival will play host the West Midlands Region Best Bitter of the Year competition
